Node upgrade tool
When upgrading from Spotfire Server version 7.5 to 7.6, the new node upgrade tool transfers your node and service
configurations and properties to the new installation.
Support for Amazon RDS
We now support Microsoft SQL Server on Amazon RDS and Oracle on Amazon RDS as Server Databases.
Custom login page
A new custom login page API makes it possible to replace the existing web-based login pages with a custom login page.
Nodes & Services improvements
When you select a service on the Nodes & Services page, you now see a list of the installed packages that are associated with that service, as well as whether there is an upgrade available for any of the packages.
It is now possible to change the deployment area for a node or service on the Nodes & Services page.
API for passive authentication
A new custom Java authentication API is available for cases where the built-in mechanism for retrieving user identity from a header or cookie is not sufficient.
